Two young people aged 16 and 17 were arrested by police officers from the departmental security and the Republican reconquest district unit Wednesday morning in Rennes.
They are accused of firing fireworks mortars on Monday evening in the district of Maurepas.
These are neighbors who had given the alert after hearing a loud bang in the neighborhood.
On the spot, the police found debris of explosive devices as well as a lighter.
The investigation quickly identified three individuals, one of them having been exonerated after his hearing.
Presented to the prosecution on Thursday, the two suspects will be presented to justice on December 1.
Police and firefighters targeted for Halloween
Two days before, police and firefighters had already been targeted by fireworks for Halloween night in the Blosne district south of the city.
Several cars and garbage cans were also set on fire.
No arrest has yet taken place following this urban violence.
