  The initiator of the project, Chen Jialing, said that he has been looking for a muralist for many years, hoping to paint murals that conform to Chinese culture and reflect the life and culture of the residents of Chinatown; and now he has completed three works, from "Noodle Shop "Doves play mahjong" and then to "Chinese zodiac snacks", these murals with life-like characteristics gradually unfold on the streets of Chinatown.

Tao Jin said that since August, she has drawn several drafts according to different wall areas. In the second “Dove Playing Mahjong”, she had not thought about the costumes of the characters in the painting, but the drawing was on the same day. In the early morning, many Chinese elders went out to buy groceries in a cart, which gave her these "inspiration from life".

  "Zodiac Dim Sum" is located in Diweichen Street near East Broadway. Chen Jialing said that this place is often a target for some people to draw ugly street graffiti. Tao Jin said that the painting started on October 27, but because of the continuous rainy weather last week, the paint was difficult to air dry, so it was not completed until this weekend.
