Italy's Corona 19 death toll has exceeded 40,000.



Italian health officials say the death toll has increased by 445 a day, resulting in a total number of deaths of 4,192.



In Italy, since the first Corona 19 death occurred in mid-February, it exceeded 10,000 on March 28, 20,000 on April 13, and 30,000 on May 8.



The total number of deaths in Italy is the United States (239,000 people), Brazil (161,000 people), India (124,000 people), Mexico (93,000 people), and the United Kingdom (47,000 people). It is the 6th most frequent after back.



The number of new confirmed cases per day also hit a record high of 34,505.



The cumulative corona19 confirmed in Italy was 824,879.



The Italian government announced additional quarantine measures, including restrictions on movement of residents and suspension of business in non-essential industries such as restaurants and pubs by designating four states, Lombardy, Piedmont, Calabria, and Valle da Osta, as high-risk areas'Red Zone'.



This measure will last from the 6th to the 3rd of the following month.
