“The State Border Committee recommends that citizens and foreigners permanently residing in the state refuse to travel abroad.

Especially to neighboring countries in view of the projected closure of their borders by analogy with the actions of Lithuania, which stops allowing foreigners to enter and introduces a general quarantine until at least November 29, ”BelTA informs the State Border Committee.

It is noted that citizens outside Belarus are advised to refrain from unreasonable travel across the border without an urgent need until the expiration of restrictive measures aimed at combating COVID-19.

Earlier, Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko commented on the restriction on the entry of foreigners into the republic.
