Before announcing Thursday the final list of the Blues in 2020, coach Didier Deschamps will scrutinize the latest health reports of injured prodigies Kylian Mbappé and Eduardo Camavinga, whose bodies will have to be managed for the three matches scheduled for November.

In the heart of an autumn devoted to tactical tests, seven months before the Euro, the boss of the 2018 world champions is expected Thursday at 2 p.m. at the headquarters of the French Football Federation (FFF), where around twenty journalists accredited on will question their choices.

Few changes are expected before welcoming Finland on Wednesday 11 November in a friendly preparatory match for the last matches of the League of Nations group stage, in Lisbon on Saturday 14 against Portugal for the group final, then against Sweden on Tuesday November 17 in the closed door of the Stade de France.

But the physical setbacks of some internationals, blunted by the chain of an extended European summer and a crowded autumn, could modify the contours of a list known in great width.

Barring a last-minute glitch, star executives Hugo Lloris, Raphaël Varane, Paul Pogba, N'Golo Kanté, Antoine Griezmann or Olivier Giroud will not be missing.

- Mbappé cut off in his tracks -

The uncertainty mainly concerns Mbappé, forced to give up the trip of Paris SG Wednesday to Leipzig in the Champions League.

The 21-year-old forward, who recently worried about feeling like he was "in the 60th game of the season", has been suffering from "right hamstring muscle discomfort" since last weekend.

"I don't think his absence will last," nevertheless reassured his coach Thomas Tuchel on Tuesday, referring to an injury "very small" but located "in a risk zone".

Decisive scorer last month in Croatia, the former Monegasque had been in the Paris jersey since the start of the season, with already 7 goals and 4 assists to his name in the league.

Mbappé was to cross the road on Saturday in Ligue 1 of another jewel of French football, Eduardo Camavinga.

But the Rennes environment, victim of a muscular glitch, was also forced to stay in the infirmary for a few days.

He missed his third game in a row on Wednesday night in the Champions League in London against Chelsea.

This situation, associated with the status of replacement of "Cama" in Blue, seems to make the Breton more uncertain than Mbappé in view of the rally.

Especially since Deschamps can afford to leave the Parisian to rest for several days, in view of the two matches that will count, in Portugal and against Sweden.

- Few places to take -

Deschamps is not immune to Covid-19 cases either, even if many internationals have already been infected: Steve Mandanda, Léo Dubois, Mbappé, Pogba or even Houssem Aouar, who is aiming for a new summons one month after his baptism of fire.

To anticipate any last-minute package, the coach can summon more than the 23 players usually called, which he had done reluctantly in October, saddened to have to leave two elements in the stands on match days.

In this hypothesis, can Ousmane Dembélé hope to see the Blues for the first time in two years?

The skillful but fragile dribbler of FC Barcelona shines again after coming out of a long tunnel of injuries: the 23-year-old world champion recently distinguished himself in the Champions League with two goals in his last two matches, before the reception on Wednesday of Dynamo Kiev.

"The most important thing for him today is that he feels good physically," warned his new coach Ronald Koeman.

Seats are also very expensive, and the space for a surprise guest is quite slim.

Among the most prominent lately, Sevilla defender Jules Koundé and Mönchengladbach striker Alassane Pléa, author of a triple in C1 on Tuesday, are in ambush.

They know that November will be the last chance to shake up the hierarchy, a last "moment to do things differently, to have answers before switching to the Euro in 2021", has already planned Deschamps.
