The assault earned him 45 days of ITT.
On Wednesday morning, a 26-year-old woman with a disability was stabbed in a bus in Saint-Etienne, in the Loire, for refusing to give a cigarette.
At around 10 a.m., she was approached by a 17-year-old boy who asked her for money and a cigarette.
Faced with his refusal, the suspect took out a cutter and struck a blow to the passenger on line 10, reports
Le Progrès.
The latter, who had three tendons in her hand severed, was taken care of by firefighters while her attacker fled.
On the indications of several witnesses of the violence, the police did not take long to trace back to the young suspect, arrested at his home.
Placed in custody, the minor would have admitted the facts by explaining that the blow of the cutter had gone by itself.
Explanations that did not convince the investigators, who initiated a procedure for "willful violence" against him.
The suspect must be brought before a juvenile judge.
