The truck accident occurred shortly after 8 pm on Wednesday evening.
E4 from junction Lagan to Trafikplats Hallsjö was closed and police were called to the site.
During police work during the accident, a police officer was hit by a truck.
He was taken to hospital by ambulance but there is no information about the injury.
- We are on site with several resources, partly to handle the traffic situation and to investigate the traffic accident, Rickard Lundqvist, spokesman for the police, said initially.
Police are looking for the truck
According to reports from the site, traffic was congested and long queues.
Initially, the truck driving on the policeman was not identified.
- There are very many trucks on the site and ambulances have had difficulty getting there.
It is too early to say if it is a contagion accident or other reasons, for example if the driver did not see the roadblocks, Rickard Lundqvist said.
