A Dutch metro train escaped a disaster, today, Monday, after it broke through a barrier that stopped and settled at a giant whale tail, sparing the driver of the vehicle, which was empty of passengers, an inevitable black fate.
The train evaded the danger of settling in the waters ten meters below, and a large portion of the front wagon remained suspended in the air supported only by the tail of the huge anthropomorphic whale.
The driver of the train, who was not carrying the passengers, was unharmed in the accident, which occurred shortly after midnight in Spikenice, near the Dutch port city of Rotterdam.
In a remarkable coincidence, the art model that protected the train from destruction bears the title "Saved by the Whale's Tail".
