02 November 2020 "This president will not steal the elections from us".

This is how Joe Biden, Democratic candidate for the White House, replies to journalists who asked him about the possibility of President Donald Trump declaring victory on election night before the official results.

Trump denied declaring victory on Election Day, even though he will have the advantage.

At the same time, however, he reiterated that he considered valid post votes arrived after November 3.

"As soon as the election is closed - he announced - we will arrive with the lawyers".

The Democratic candidate also intervenes in defense of Fauci, an American expert in infectious diseases, after Trump's threat to fire him.

"We need - writes Biden in a tweet - a president who listens to experts like Fauci".

"Wait for the elections," said Trump, during a rally in Florida.

To his supporters who were clamoring for "Fire Fauci", he replied: "Don't tell anyone, but let me wait a while after the elections."

Concluding "I appreciate the suggestion".

Fauci has always been very critical of the White House for handling the pandemic.

In an interview with the Washington Post, he said that the United States is not in a good position on the front of the fight against Covid, because - he explained - the president addresses it by looking at the economy.

On the contrary - Fauci argued - challenger Joe Biden is looking at the pandemic from the right perspective, the "health" one.
