According to the press service of the party, Poroshenko said this during a briefing in the Verkhovna Rada.

“Yesterday Zelensky tried to scare the Verkhovna Rada and Ukrainian society ... It's bad when the president looks scary, but even worse when they laugh at him,” the former Ukrainian leader said.

He called on Zelensky to gather the heads of the Rada factions and "together to look for a way out of the constitutional crisis."

According to Poroshenko, Zelensky, introducing such a bill, decided to "adopt the experience of the Putin regime."

“Over the past week, the Russian State Duma has made changes to Russian legislation, which provided for the president's rights ... to single-handedly dismiss the judges of the Constitutional Court.

Zelensky liked this idea very much, and he wanted to push it through the Verkhovna Rada, "Poroshenko said.

According to him, in this way Zelensky "brings the country closer to a dictatorship."

At the same time, Poroshenko added that he himself does not welcome the decision of the Constitutional Court of Ukraine, according to which the publication of electronic declarations of officials was canceled.

On October 27, the Constitutional Court of Ukraine ruled that part of the provisions of the law “On Prevention of Corruption” was not in compliance with the basic law of the country.

This also affected the criminal liability for inaccurate declaration of income of officials.

After that, Zelensky introduced a bill to parliament, which proposes to deprive the judges of the Constitutional Court of their powers and restore the law on declaration that they had canceled.

The head of the Constitutional Court, Alexander Tupitsky, said that this bill "has signs of a constitutional coup in the country."

At the same time, the judge of the Constitutional Court Igor Slidenko predicted the collapse of Ukraine, in the event of the dissolution of the judicial body.
