In Nantes, an unidentifiable body found under the Cheviré bridge

A lifeless body floating in the Loire was spotted by a fisherman under the Cheviré bridge, in Nantes, Monday afternoon, around 2:30 p.m.

Called on, the firefighters managed to recover the remains, by boat, from the south shore, at the port area.

The body was not identifiable, reports the departmental fire and rescue service.

He was handed over to the national police.

An investigation has been opened.

On Saturday afternoon, already, the body of a man aged about 40 had been recovered by firefighters in the Loire near the Trois-Continents bridge, which links the island of Nantes to Rezé.
