In addition, the Democratic Party is finalizing the revision of the party constitution today (3rd) in order to nominate the mayor of Seoul and Busan mayor by-election next year.

Democratic Party leader Lee Nak-yeon convened today's Central Committee and said, "With a very high approval rate, the party members decided it was right to give a candidate to be judged by the voters."

Representative Lee said, "There are many discussions and criticisms on whether or not to make a candidate. I know and the Central Committee will know," he said.

The Central Committee was convened to revise the party constitution so that no candidates for re-election would be issued if there was a serious fault.

Previously, over 86% of the voters voted in favor of the nomination.
