03 November 2020 Diego Armando Maradona will undergo a surgical operation to remove a clot from the brain.

The TYC Sports magazine reports it.

The Gimnasia coach was hospitalized yesterday in a clinic in La Plata.

Maradona had appeared in public in recent days, along with his players on his 60th birthday, but after spending a few minutes on the pitch he had withdrawn with the help of his assistants.

With the mask and the uncertain step, the former 'pibe de oro' had entered the field where he had been honored for his birthday, but had been seen walking with great difficulty.

Maradona, according to La Nacion, will leave the Ipensa clinic in La Plata where he is hospitalized to move to a hospital in Buenos Aires where he should undergo the operation.
