Democratic Party finally revised its constitution and decided to nominate a candidate for the by-election of the mayors of Seoul and Busan next April.

As a result of the former party member's vote, the reason is that over 80% of the vote was overwhelming.

Among the 803,000 Democratic Rights Party members, 211,000 participated in the vote, 26.35% voted in favor of 86.64%, and the rights Party voted in favor of a quarter.

Although some argued that it was not falling short of the effective turnout, the Democratic Party refuted that there was no problem as it was a procedure for securing political legitimacy, not a resolution to amend the party constitution.

Representative Lee Nak-yeon repeatedly apologized to the citizens of Seoul and Busan, as well as to the victims of the alleged sexual harassment case, former Mayor Park Won-soon and Oh Geo-don.
