A 7-year-old child discovered a fossil of a prehistoric fish dragon 250 million years ago in the Russian Far East Coast.

The main character of this story is Dmitry Sirenko, 7 years old this year.

Sirenko, a participant in a local science education program in Russia, discovered a rock with an interesting shape while walking along the coast of Russky Island.

In this rock, the bow-shaped bones that make up the animal's chest were clearly left.

Paleontologists at the site at the time confirmed that the mark was a trace of a prehistoric marine reptile, a fisherman.

The fisherman has a sleek appearance similar to that of the dolphins today, and is said to be a predator who ruled the sea at the time.

It is said to have gone extinct at the end of the Cretaceous Period along with the dinosaurs.

Local scholars estimate that only the ribs of the fossils of fish dragons were broken due to the typhoon that struck the coastal region of Russia this summer.

Shirenko, who discovered a fossil that is 250 million years old, said, "It was always my dream to find the bones of a real dinosaur," and he is very proud.

Netizens said, "It's amazing that the fossils of prehistoric fish dragon ribs are so clear!" They responded, such as "The little boy has achieved his dream quickly! Congratulations~^^".
