02 November 2020 The voucher of up to 500 euros will arrive starting from 9 November to have a fast internet connection and to equip yourself with a personal computer or tablet.

This is what the Ultra Broadband Committee (Cobul) chaired by the Minister for Technological Innovation and Digitization, Paola Pisano, decided today.

From next Monday the voucher can therefore be requested by families with Isee (indicator of the equivalent economic situation) not exceeding 20,000 euros.

Cobul took note of the information provided by the Ministry of Economic Development and by Infratel (a company of the Invitalia group supervised by the Mise) on the basis of which it appears that the commercial offers presented by telecommunications operators and approved by Infratel may be usable by families. starting from that date.

Cobul is the inter-ministerial committee set up to coordinate the Italian strategy for ultra-broadband, aimed at providing the country with high-performance connectivity.

In addition to the Presidency of the Council, which is represented by the Minister Pisano, the Committee includes the Minister of Economic Development, the Minister of Public Administration, the Minister for Regional Affairs and Autonomies, the Minister for the South and Territorial Cohesion, the Minister of Agricultural, Food and Forestry Policies and, representing the Regions, the President of the Conference of Regions and Autonomous Provinces.

This first phase of disbursement of the bonus, a note recalls, is part of a broader project that also provides for families with Isee income of less than 50,000 euros and for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises the possibility of using vouchers for the connection fast internet.

For vouchers to businesses, a figure of 515 million euros has been envisaged, the allocation of which will take place through a gradual incentive based on the quality of connectivity.

The Cobul, on the proposal of the Mise, therefore decided to award a voucher ranging from a minimum of 300 euros to a maximum of 2,500 euros, depending on the speed of the connection.
