Between 2014 and 2016, the woman ran a very extensive kennel business and sold 205 puppies over the years.

After a tip to the Swedish Tax Agency in 2017, it was discovered that the woman did not have a permit and did not pay any tax on the profit.

The woman previously had a permit to have 25 adult dogs, but that permit was withdrawn after a review.

Sentenced to pay a fine

Already in 2017, the woman received SEK 1.3 million in residual tax, money she did not have, and she was declared bankrupt.

The district court considers that the business activity is to be counted as an individual company, even though she had no accounting, and she is therefore sentenced to pay SEK 50,000 in fines, in addition to the residual tax she has already received.

In addition, the woman is sentenced to one month probation and SEK 4,000 in fines.
