Democratic Party will unveil the results of the vote of former party members asking if they will be nominated for the Seoul and Busan mayors' by-election in April next year.

In the voting, the Democratic Party asked party members if they would make a nomination in April next year by revising the party constitution that it would not recommend candidates if re-election was held due to a serious mistake of an elected official in the party.

The voting that started at 10 a.m. yesterday ended at 6 p.m. yesterday, and inside and outside the party, the prevailing view that nomination will exceed two-thirds.

If this plan is approved, the Democratic Party will hold the Party Committee and the Central Committee one after another to finalize the revision of the Party Constitution and begin preparing for the primary.

The power of the people held an emergency press conference in the National Assembly yesterday and pressed the Democratic Party to withdraw the nomination for the election.

In particular, a day of criticism was set up by emphasizing the fact that President Moon Jae-in made the constitution when he was the party's representative.

The Democratic Party was then greeted by saying, "The Saenuri Party, the predecessor of the people's power, caused the first impeachment in the history of its constitution, but changed its name from the early presidential election to the Free Korean Party and nominated a presidential candidate."

The Justice Party criticized the Democratic Party, saying, “It is embarrassing to postpone responsibilities to the party members,” saying, “Responsible politics is an act of bankrupting when the repayment date comes back after issuing a promissory note.”
