Dubai Municipality closes 18 institutions for not adhering to the Coronavirus measures during October

Dubai Municipality reported that it closed 18 institutions, and violated 204 others, during the month of October, due to failure to comply with precautionary measures to confront the Corona virus, and it also warned 1539 other institutions.

Municipal statistics showed that its inspectors carried out 53 thousand and 42 inspection visits throughout the month, which included food establishments, cafes, fitness centers, beauty centers, salons and laundries.

She indicated that the procedures are in effect until further notice, stressing that violations of prevention measures will not be tolerated, in the interest of the safety of community members.

The municipality had imposed requirements and controls on establishments operating in Dubai, which are under its supervision, which included the application and regulation of safe physical distances to be two meters between people, measuring temperatures for workers periodically, during the day, and for customers, visitors and guests before entering, and directing workers, in the event that For any symptoms of respiratory infection, by visiting the nearest health center for examination and treatment, not to practice work, and not to allow customers who suffer symptoms of respiratory infection to enter.
