The rescue service and police were busy on Sunday morning with various traffic accidents in Uppsala County.

First, a frontal collision was alerted at 9 o'clock on the smaller road 675 east of Alunda in Östhammar municipality.

- There are two cars that drove together.

Both people are standing outside the cars.

The rescue service is on site and handles the incident.

The police are also on their way, says Hans Eriksson, management operator at Räddningscentral Mitt.

A fine on the spot

An ambulance was on the scene but there are no reports of serious injuries.

Shortly afterwards, two cars collided on road 272 in the Östervåla area.

- It must have been in connection with a U-turn.

A woman in her 60s was fined on the spot for not complying with the stop obligation, says Daniel Wikdahl, press spokesperson at the police region Mitt.

No person was injured there.

At 10.20 it was time again.

Then, for unknown reasons, a truck overturned in a roundabout on road 262 in Librobäck in Uppsala.

The load on the trailer also overturned over the roadway.

One lane was closed for salvage work.
