The earthquake caused the collapse of many buildings in Izmir and other places, causing 25 deaths and more than 800 injuries.
After the earthquake, the embassy in Turkey contacted overseas Chinese, Chinese enterprises and students in Izmir and other places as soon as possible, verified with the local government and police departments many times, learned about the impact of Chinese personnel, and conveyed Ambassador Liu Shaobin’s condolences to them. .
