US President Donald Trump's campaign for re-election has resulted in more than 30,000 new corona19 cases, a study found.

According to CNBC broadcast on the 31st (local time), researchers at the university, including Professor Douglas Bernheim, the head of Stanford University's economics department, posted a paper containing the same content on the pre-release site, SSRN, the day before.

Researchers at Stanford University analyzed Corona 19 data in those counties after the 18 President Trump campaigns held between June 20 and September 22 this year.

This is a comparison between these counties and other counties where the corona19 confirmed trend was similar before the campaign.

As a result, the researchers estimated that a total of more than 30,000 new confirmed cases occurred due to President Trump's 18 campaigns, and more than 700 deaths.

The researchers said that the paper supports the warnings of public health officials who warn of the risk of corona19 transmission through large gatherings "especially when the rate of adherence to the guidelines for wearing masks and social distancing is low."

Prof. Bernheim, the lead author of the thesis, said, "The community where the Trump campaign was held paid a high price in terms of disease and death."

The results of these studies were revealed on the day that 9,321 new corona19 confirmed cases in the United States poured out a day and set a new record.

However, CNBC said this paper has not yet been reviewed by fellow researchers.
