Customers wait in peace

In the aisles of a Parisian market, many customers wait, at length, in front of the stalls.

But this time they don't go for the products.

"During the first wave, instead of taking two traditional baguettes, people took five or six to freeze them! If we are robbed and there is nothing left at noon, it gives customers a bad image. . There, we are as usual, ”says Adelaide who runs a bakery stand.

"There are a lot of fresh products that you can't find in supermarkets," says Viviane, 72 years old.

For her, the relationship with traders is also very important.

"It's good to see a few people discussing, supporting them and not changing our habits too much," she continues.

Going to the market will be a breath of fresh air for some residents.

They hope the markets will remain open for the duration of the lockdown.
