Health Organization expert: "Covid-19" tests should play a greater role in international travel

The head of the World Health Organization's emergency committee, Didier Hussein, said today, Friday, that "Covid-19" tests should be used in international travel on a larger scale than medical quarantine operations.

Earlier, Mike Ryan, chief emergency expert at the organization, said that travel is now "relatively safe" and "relatively less risky."

He also said that it is difficult to carry out any scientific activity on the origin of the virus, which was first detected in China in December in an "politically poisonous" climate.
