The earthquake struck on Friday, October 30, in the Aegean Sea near the Greek island of Samos.

Earlier, Russian leader Vladimir Putin expressed his condolences to Kyriakos Mitsotakis in connection with the aftermath of the earthquake in the Aegean Sea.
