The police state that the woman has been missing since Thursday evening.

She must then have been on her way to her home in Fellingsbro, she drove in her car and came from Örebro.

After driving incorrectly, and then not being able to locate herself, the woman stated that she got stuck in the car and then decided to spend the night between Thursday and Friday in her vehicle.

- She had not planned to be away for long so she has no food, said Lars Hedelin, press spokesperson at the police, on Friday.

Appeals for tips about red car

The woman is said to have told the police via mobile phone during Friday morning.

But the police's work to try to find the woman has since been made considerably more difficult, mainly because the battery on the woman's mobile phone has died.

It has therefore not been possible to trace her.

- We did not get any positioning before the signal disappeared, says Lars Hedelin.

At present, the search area is large.

The search operation on Saturday is very extensive, and is carried out by both the Armed Forces and the police.

An area has been drawn where you are looking intensively right now, on the map the area forms a triangle with Örebro, Abroga and Fellingsbro as points.

- It is very interesting for us if someone has seen a red Toyota Corolla in this area, says police guard Torbjörn Roos.

Have you made any progress during Friday night and the night before Saturday?

- No, but we have positioned the phone now and got an angle at least.

Did you get any tips?

- Yes, something has come in about someone who has seen a car, but no more, says Torbjörn Roos.

"Has been extremely foggy"

It has so far been too much fog to be able to send a helicopter to the search operation.

The work with drones and thermal cameras has not yielded anything.

- It has been extremely foggy, but we hope that it will be easier now on Saturday, says Roos.

Anyone with information about the woman can reach the police in the Bergslagen region on telephone number 114 14.
