China News Service, October 31. According to a report by the Japan Broadcasting Association (NHK), on October 29, five female self-defense officers of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force ended their boarding practice training and officially became the first female submariners in Japan.
On the 29th, these five female self-defense officers completed a four-month boarding practice training, were awarded the "Dolphin Badge" and officially became submariners.
In the past, the internal space of the submarine of the Japan Maritime Self-Defense Force was small, and it was difficult to ensure the privacy of the members. Therefore, the submarine force was the only force in the front of the Maritime Self-Defense Force that consisted of only male members.
Later, the Maritime Self-Defense Force decided to transform the submarine and use female submariners.
The third class sea Cao Taguchi Menghua was one of the first female submariners.
She said: "I hope to participate in the career that promotes women to show their talents in the future and contribute to it."
