Regarding the border measures against the new coronavirus, the government has decided to resume traffic with Vietnam from November 1st for business travelers and other short-term business travelers. ..

This was announced by Foreign Minister Motegi at a press conference after the Cabinet meeting.

According to this, as part of the mitigation of border measures that are being taken as a countermeasure against the new coronavirus, new traffic with Vietnam will be made from November 1st to business people who are on business trips and other short-term stays. I am going to restart it.

We have already resumed traffic to and from Vietnam for long-term business people such as expatriates, and this is the third case of resumption of traffic for both short-term and long-term stays after Singapore and South Korea.

In addition, the government has raised the level of "danger information" issued in consideration of the security situation to "level 2" for the entire world, and has requested that people refrain from traveling unnecessarily. It will be lowered to "level 1" and so on.

Furthermore, regarding "infectious disease risk information" that considers the risk of infection, the "level 3" of the travel suspension recommendation issued to 159 countries and regions will be applied to nine countries and regions such as China and South Korea from the 30th. It has been lowered to "Level 2", which calls for refraining from traveling unnecessarily and urgently, and it is expected that it will not be subject to immigration denial.

On the other hand, in Myanmar and Jordan, it was decided to raise it to "Level 3" because the infection is spreading.
