China News Service, October 30. According to Singapore’s Lianhe Zaobao, after a series of deaths after influenza vaccination in South Korea, the Ministry of Health of Singapore has issued a notice a few days ago to suspend the use of two influenza vaccines used in South Korea.

On the 29th local time, the Ministry of Health of South Korea stated that the people in the country had been vaccinated with the above-mentioned related vaccines and had uncomfortable reactions, but they had all recovered.

According to reports, the two influenza vaccines previously suspended in Singapore are named SKYCellflu Quadrivalent and VaxigripTetra.

According to the Ministry of Health of Singapore, two people experienced symptoms such as sore throat, nausea or rash after being vaccinated with SKYCellflu Quadrivalent in 2020.

The Ministry of Health Sciences of Singapore has also received several notifications since 2019, saying that after someone was vaccinated with Vaxigrip Tetra, symptoms such as rashes appeared on the vaccinated site.

However, everyone has recovered.

The Ministry of Health of Singapore pointed out that, like other drugs, vaccination may have minor side effects, but flu vaccination is generally safe. Singapore suspends the use of the two vaccines just in case.

According to previous media reports, South Korea will expand its influenza vaccination program in 2020 and intend to provide free vaccination to approximately 19 million teenagers and elderly people.

On October 16, a 17-year-old teenager in Incheon City died after being vaccinated with influenza. Since then, similar cases in South Korea have continued to increase.

As of the 72nd local time, a total of 72 people in South Korea have died after being vaccinated against influenza.
