The Community of Madrid has extended the restrictions this Friday to three more basic health areas, in addition to the 32 confined since Monday.
The areas that would be restricted from 00:00 on Monday are Valle de la Oliva, in Majadahonda, and Barrio del Puerto and Doctor Tamames, in Coslada, all of them with a Covid-19 incidence rate higher than 500 cases per every 100,000 inhabitants.
This was notified this morning by the Deputy Minister of Public Health and the COVID-19 Plan, Antonio Zapatero, and the General Director of Public Health, Elena Andradas, who have reported that 11% of the Madrid population would be confined with these added areas.
The Valdezarza area, with a rate of nearly 1,000 cases, has not been included as 90% of the infections belong to the outbreaks detected in residences and colleges.
