October 30, 2020 A strong 7.0 magnitude earthquake was recorded off the Greek island of Samos in the Aegean Sea. This was announced by the Usgs.



According to the US Geophysical Institute, the epicenter was located 14 km from the coastal city of Karlovasi, with the hypocenter 10 km deep. The quake was felt as far as Athens, nearly 300 km away, according to Greek media.
