The ice hockey league has rolled on as usual in Finland during October, however, taking into account the pandemic restrictions.

For example, only half of the seats in the stands are filled.

To facilitate infection tracking among players, a technology has been used that is usually used for analysis of, for example, playing time on the ice: A computer chip in the player's equipment.

If a player turns out to be infected, the data in the same chip reveals which other players may have been infected by the sick player.

Watch the video with the news item, where the League's competition manager Arto I. Järvelä and Markus Lindström, sales manager HIFK Hockey, tell more about the restrictions and the advantages of the technical solution.
