Despite the Israeli police tightening their procedures at the gates of Jerusalem and Al-Aqsa, tens of thousands of Palestinians from Jerusalem and the occupied interior succeeded in reaching the Blessed Mosque to commemorate the birth of the Prophet.

Dozens of buses set off from the towns and cities of the occupied interior towards Al-Aqsa, and the occupation obstructed their entry from the Damascus Gate and the tribes through erecting iron barriers, and it was not allowed to pass them until after checking personal IDs and inspecting bags.

In the alleys of the Old City, visitors to the Holy City spread in search of the "mushbak" sweets, which Palestinians are famous for presenting as a gift in memory of the birth of the Prophet during the surrogacy, but the scene in the Old City looked different this year in light of the forced shops to close their doors due to the Corona pandemic, and to allow specific specialties It is impossible to open its doors, but without receiving the public.

Strict measures

In order to reach the Al-Aqsa Mosque, the occupation measures were not less severe, but many succeeded in bypassing them and joining the celebration organized by the Islamic Endowments Department at the Al-Qibli prayer hall, which included words by scholars and a presentation of the prophetic biography, Islamic chants and prophetic praises.

The imam and preacher of the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, Sheikh Yusuf Abu Sneineh, who directed the ceremony, presented the biography of the Prophet in stages, beginning with listing the lineage of the Prophet Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, and touching upon his emigration and the stages of his life that included many challenges.

In his speech to Al-Jazeera Net, Al-Aqsa’s preacher says that the Endowment Department takes great care of this particular religious occasion, and worshipers flock to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in large numbers because of the splendor and character of the celebration of the first two Qiblah.

He added, "This is a day of light, pleasure, giving and joy, the day of building the Islamic nation in the east and west of the earth. Today's memory is dominated by sadness that not all worshipers were able to enter the mosque, due to the Corona pandemic and the Israeli police tightening their procedures at the doors."

He emphasized that the West “is busy drawing up strategies to fight Muhammad, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him and his followers, so it is not surprising that this tension and violence against Muslims and their Prophet, and the repeated attempts to taint and diminish Islam and brand it with terrorism and criminality, but we respond by saying the Almighty (and they plotted and God is the best of the cunning).” .

Al-Bakri concluded by discussing the worshipers on the importance of defending the Messenger Muhammad, may God bless him and grant him peace, saying, "Our defense of him is a defense of our religion, our selves, our civilization and our culture, for he is superior and superior to us and the master of creation whom God guarantees to defend."

As for the Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian lands, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, he said in his speech that insulting the faith and its symbols crossed all the red lines that Muslims reject. “We have redeemed our Messenger with our children and our souls, for he is our leader who we are proud of in every time and place, and we made a pledge to him to be the believers of his message and guided by his guidance, and we will not accept to be touched This covenant, and we declare from Al-Aqsa Mosque that all Muslims reject any prejudice to it.
