"The Cabinet of Ministers has decided to extend the state of emergency due to the coronavirus for a period of 60 days from November 5, 2020 to January 3, 2021," TASS said.
It is noted that this decision must be approved by the Israeli parliament.
Earlier it was reported that the Israel Institute for Biological Research will begin clinical trials of a vaccine against coronavirus on November 1.
