"To impose a sentence on him in the form of six years in a penal colony," the judge announced.

Earlier, the court found Rebrovsky guilty of creating the extremist community "New Greatness" with the aim of overthrowing the government.

This is already the second consideration of the Rebrovsky case.

In April 2019, the court sentenced him to 2.5 years in a general regime colony, but later the Moscow City Court overturned the sentence, as the man pleaded guilty and made a deal with the investigation, but then withdrew his testimony.

In early August, the court sentenced seven community members to prison terms ranging from four years probation to seven years in prison.

Participants of the "New Greatness" were detained in March 2018. According to the investigation, their main task was "uncontested participation in popular uprisings, revolutionary actions, in a clash with representatives of the current regime in Russia."
