Raised votes to close SHL

The discussion is mainly about closing the SHL for relegation.

Which would mean that none of the 14 teams would risk ending up in the Hockeyallsvenskan.

At present, the question of closing the SHL is not relevant at the Swedish Ice Hockey Association, but the discussions are being followed.

Jenny Silfverstrand is the CEO of SHL and she tells Sportbladet that they are currently set on the season continuing as it is, but opens up that the question of a closure may come later.

- If such a decision is to be made, it needs to be in the near future.

But it is up to the union to handle the issue, she tells Sportbladet.
