Philadelphia Police Commissioner Danielle Outlaw said 81 new arrests were made in the city on October 28, including for assaulting police officers.

Among those detained, 53 people are accused of theft.

It is noted that over two days of protests in the city, more than 50 law enforcement officers were injured, 23 of them were injured on October 28.

Earlier in Philadelphia, a curfew was imposed until Thursday morning, October 29, amid riots following the murder of African American Walter Wallace by police.

It was later reported that American police found a truck loaded with explosives in Philadelphia.
