Jiangxi fully completed the provincial ecological environmental protection inspection and "look back"

  Xinhua News Agency, Nanchang, October 29 (Reporter Wu Huiying) The reporter learned from a press conference held by the Jiangxi Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment on the 29th that as the second batch of provincial eco-environmental protection inspectors' "look back" has recently concluded, Jiangxi has fully completed Provincial eco-environmental protection inspector and "look back".

  From 2017 to 2018, Jiangxi carried out provincial ecological environmental protection routine inspections in 11 districts and cities in three batches, and fed back the inspection opinions to the inspected districts and cities, and at the same time handed over 36 clues to accountability issues.

Inspected districts and cities prepared rectification plans based on the feedback from the inspectors, sorting out a total of 576 rectification issues.

As of the end of September this year, 308 of the 410 issues requiring rectification within a time limit have been completed; the rectification of the remaining 166 issues is in progress.

In response to the issue of accountability for the transfer, a total of 208 responsible persons were held accountable.

  In December 2019, Jiangxi carried out the first batch of provincial eco-environmental protection inspections in 6 districts and cities including Jiujiang, Pingxiang, Xinyu, Yingtan, Yichun, and Ji'an.

Six districts and cities have formulated rectification plans based on the feedback from the inspectors, and 277 rectification problems have been sorted out.

As of the end of September, 79 of the 212 issues requiring rectification within a deadline have been completed; 65 issues requiring long-term persistence are in progress.

The 12 transferred clues to accountability issues are being investigated and handled in accordance with relevant requirements.

  In July 2020, Jiangxi carried out the second batch of provincial eco-environmental protection inspections in five districts and cities including Nanchang, Jingdezhen, Ganzhou, Shangrao and Fuzhou.

At present, the five districts and cities are formulating rectification plans, and in accordance with the relevant requirements, investigation and processing of the transfer of 10 accountability issues.
