In Russia, 17,717 cases of coronavirus were detected per day

This is stated in the message of the operational headquarters to combat the spread of coronavirus.

“Over the past 24 hours, 17,717 new cases of coronavirus have been detected in Russia in 85 regions,” the statement said. 

The day before, 16 202 cases of coronavirus infection were recorded in Russia during the day.

Earlier, Rospotrebnadzor ordered all Russians to wear masks in public places, transport, in parking lots and in elevators, and also recommended banning entertainment and catering services from 23:00 to 06:00.

On October 27, the director of the Scientific Information Center for the Prevention and Treatment of Viral Infections, immunologist Georgy Vikulov, commented in an interview with URA.RU on the invulnerability of a number of people to the coronavirus.
