The court gave indulgences to Hyundai Heavy Industries, which in fact won the KDDX main project by stealing the conceptual blueprints of the next Korean destroyer KDDX.

It is the judgment of the court that it cannot admit that the stolen confidentiality was used in the bid for the main business.

The court fully accepted the logic of Hyundai Heavy Industries that "they stole confidential information, but did not use it," and the Defense Acquisition Program Administration's will to support it.

According to the ruling that admitted to stealing military secrets and not touching it, Hyundai Heavy Industries was given wings.

The government was in a position to wait for the court's judgment, but now it is possible to hand over the entire KDDX business to Hyundai Heavy Industries without notice.

● HHI's splendid allegations

HHI's case of leaking secrets from the Navy and the Bangsaak Office is a record-breaking story.

In April 2018, the secretary data came out when the secret server of the special ship division at the headquarters of Hyundai Heavy Industries in Ulsan was seized and searched by the military command.

"26 secrets of the Navy and the Radiation Administration were found, and a reception book was also released," said an official in the military investigation.

There are two KDDX secrets that Hyundai Heavy Industries employees went to the naval headquarters and photographed thieves, and the next submarine Jangbo-III was one that Hyundai Heavy Industries employees received from the naval officer at the headquarters smoking room.

There is also one multipurpose training support boat and one confidential training box.

There are 21 more.

Of the 26 stolen secrets, 16 were identified with the details of the leak and the suspects.

There are 25 suspects.

Of these, there are 3 active duty officers and 10 civilians related to the military, including the Defense Agency for Technology and Quality.

12 employees of Hyundai Heavy Industries were involved.

The Security Support Command, the successor of the military officer, sent 25 people to the military prosecutors' office and the Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office, respectively.

This is the record for the highest number of single classified leaks.

● Nevertheless, Hyundai Heavy Industries'

military prosecutors, who are

not disadvantaged

, conducted investigations on the suspects in no time late.

One officer has been adjudicated by a second trial court, and some officers are in first trial.

On the other hand, the investigation of the Ulsan District Prosecutors' Office is sluggish.

The employees of Hyundai Heavy Industries have not heard the news that the trial has begun, let alone the ruling.

A senior military official pointed out that "Hyundai Heavy Industries seems to be taking the time to pursue investigation and trial by buying lawyers at large law firms."

If the suspicion of Hyundai Heavy Industries is admitted, it is natural that Hyundai Heavy Industries will be deducted from the bid for the trap business and the designation of the defense company itself may be canceled.

All charges of Hyundai Heavy Industries are admitted in the trials of classified officers.

However, since it is not a trial for the employees of Hyundai Heavy Industries, it cannot be penalized for Hyundai Heavy Industries.

Although blindfolded, Hyundai Heavy Industries will not suffer any disadvantages until a final legal decision is made against the employees of Hyundai Heavy Industries.

The fact that the secret was stolen in history is confirmed, but that's all.

This is a technique often used by bad defense companies. Even after committing a serious crime, the investigation and trial are dragged down to take care of all the business that will be taken care of, and then receive a judgment.

The punishment for sin is inevitable, but the business is affordable.

This is the case of Hyundai Heavy Industries, where it is safe to steal secrets.

● Court "Insufficient to admit whether illegally acquired materials and bids were used"

The 51st Civil Affairs Department of the Seoul Central District Law made a decision to apply for provisional injunction in consideration of the fairness of KDDX bidding on the 27th.

It wasn't a intensive look at the allegations that Hyundai Heavy Industries had stolen confidential information, but a trial that looked at the overall KDDX bidding process.

The judge concluded that the bid was fair.

Hyundai Heavy Industries also gave indulgences for stealing confidential information.

The Ministry of Justice said, "With only the submitted explanation data, whether the participant (Hyundai Heavy Industries) used the data obtained as above for bidding in this case, and the debtor (Radio Administration) evaluated the proposal for the project in this case for the purpose of favoring the participant (Hyundai Heavy Industries). It is not enough to admit whether it was done unfairly.”

It is true that Hyundai Heavy Industries stole KDDX confidentiality, but I don't know if it was used for the KDDX bidding, and it means that the Bangsaeng Administration cannot confirm that it has also served with Hyundai Heavy Industries.

As a result of this, it is expected that the KDD will proceed with the KDDX project by receiving the results of the application for provisional disposition as announced by the National Bureau.

Since the bidding was not unfair, we will sign an official contract with Hyundai Heavy Industries and entrust the basic design and construction of KDDX.

The court judgment came, but the questions are not resolved.

Where did Hyundai Heavy Industries steal the KDDX confidential blueprint and use it?

Was it just holding it on a secret server as Hyundai Heavy Industries claimed?

Was the KDDX bidding truly fair?
