On Thursday, October 29, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko made a series of changes in his administration, as well as in the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the republic.

So, Yuri Karaev was dismissed from the post of head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, he was replaced by the former head of the Municipal Department of Internal Affairs of the Minsk City Executive Committee Ivan Kubrakov.

After the appointment, the new Minister of Internal Affairs noted that the primary tasks in his work would be to ensure security in Minsk and to train personnel.

“I studied, consulted and chose Kubrakov from a dozen proposed candidates.

Firstly, we have a more or less difficult situation in Minsk, it will have to be dealt with, you are in the subject.

Of course, you will not be the only one to study, there will be the head of the GUVD, whom you will definitely not interfere with work, because you yourself have just passed this level.

On the other hand, you already have experience.

If the new boss needs him, you will hand him over, ”Lukashenka said.

The head of state also indicated that he makes decisions aimed at protecting the peace and tranquility of citizens.

“Someone wants the police and military to leave Minsk?

This will not happen while I am president.

These are my functions and powers - to protect the peace and quiet of our citizens.

So it will be in the future.

They should know this, ”the Belarusian leader said.

Lukashenka also announced the need to create people's military squads, recruiting former servicemen into their ranks and providing them with weapons.

“They can help us a lot.

And every person needs to feel that he is protecting his family and his land, ”he said.

Presidential aides

In addition, new assistants to the President of Belarus were appointed in Minsk, as well as in the Brest and Grodno regions.

They are Alexander Barsukov, Valery Vakulchik and Yuri Karaev, respectively.

“Publicly I want to inform everyone present: I have made a personnel decision, and the three of you are heading not only to especially dangerous, but very important areas of our country.

In connection with those events, first of all, that have happened (they are not finished yet, we do not know yet what it might result in).

Why you?

You are military people, knowledgeable, you do not need to be brought up to date and taught, ”the Belarusian leader said.

He also instructed to expand the powers of presidential aides, stressing that their main task will remain the selection of personnel for leadership positions in these regions.

“And control over the activities of personnel.

Completely.

All personnel in the region - from the chairman of the village council, the head of the enterprise to the governor.

On the selection of (personnel -

) and other issues, socio-economic development, of course, this is a very delicate job, they have experience.

This is work with the leaders of the regions - Brest region, Grodno region and Minsk.

Therefore, contact with the governor is a very delicate job.

And I am absolutely convinced that, having such experience, they will be able to do it, ”the President of the Republic stressed.

About eastern neighbors

In addition, Alexander Lukashenko drew attention to the socio-political situation in neighboring states.

According to him, the reason for the demonstrations that began in Poland was that Andrzej Duda won the presidential elections with the help of "falsifications."

In addition, the Belarusian leader drew attention to the economic problems of the neighboring country.

“They wanted to arrange a revolution with us, not even a revolution, but a rebellion, but they got it themselves.

The situation there is not easy, and it just won't come out.

It was not the scumbags who rose there, but the women, and it is clear why they rose.

The peasants have risen there, and they know what they have risen for.

There, workers have risen, they know why, civil servants.

Women got up and started protesting not only because of abortion.

It was the trigger.

Duda won in Poland by rigging the elections, ”he said.

Lukashenko also pointed out that in Lithuania the party that ran for Foreign Minister Linas Linkevicius did not get into parliament, while in Ukraine the pro-presidential Servant of the People party suffered a "crushing defeat in the local elections."

“Therefore, there is no need to throw stones at a neighbor, no need to climb into our garden.

Understand yourself.

You must always be honest, reliable for your neighbor, loyal to your country and sincere, ”the President of Belarus stressed.

About talking to Pompeo

In addition, Alexander Lukashenko spoke about his telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, which took place on October 24.

According to him, they have "very good relations" with the head of the State Department, and he called everything that is written in the Telegram channels "garbage."

“He did not demand anything from me, there was a very warm, kind conversation.

But I told him directly, in a friendly way: "Mike, despite this, I understand what's going on."

And I warned him: if only there are twitching from Poland, Lithuania and, perhaps, Ukraine (this is not even discussed, they have no time for that), but the Poles and Lithuanians, mostly Poles (that there are Lithuanians, there is no army), - well, we will answer, ”he said.

According to Lukashenko, Pompeo assured that no action on the part of Belarus' eastern neighbors "can never be and will never be."

Nevertheless, the Belarusian leader believes that the territory of the country may be in danger from neighbors.

“Therefore, one shouldn't be complacent about these goals, that they, the Poles, need all of Belarus. You know, even if all of NATO is included in Belarus, they will not be able to do it. Even if we are alone, they will not succeed. We will all die for our country. God forbid, of course. They should know this, ”the president of the republic said.
