"Grandfather" celebrating "Rikkoshi no Rei" voted at the House of Councilors plenary session October 29, 14:31
Celebrate the "Rikkoshi no Rei", which widely informs both inside and outside of Japan that Akishinomiya has become the "crown prince" who has succeeded to the throne, before the 8th of next month. "Grandfather" was voted at the House of Councilors plenary session.
The "Grandfather" is given to His Majesty the Emperor and Prince Akishino in accordance with the "Rikkoshi no Rei", and was unanimously voted at the House of Councilors plenary session held on the 29th.
