Erdogan published, through his Twitter account, the video clip in which he chanted the song "The full moon is upon us," and commented, "It is an honor for us to stand honestly in the face of the attacks on our Prophet who honored Mecca, Medina, Asia, Africa, Europe and the whole world and every place and time."

Mekke'ye, Medine'ye, Asya'ya, Afrika'ya, Avrupa'ya, tüm dünyaya, tüm alemlere ve tüm zamanlara şeref veren Peygamber Efendimize yapılan saldırılara mimiyetle karşı durmak bizem şerşd.

In the same context, the Turkish President renewed his criticism of French President Emmanuel Macron against the background of the latter's defense of the offensive cartoons and his statements in which he said that the Islamic religion is in crisis in various parts of the world.

"France and Europe in general do not deserve the evil, provocative and ugly policies pursued by Macron and those who follow his same mentality," Erdogan said.

He emphasized that "those who equate Islam and Turkey with hostility will sink into the swamp of hatred and hatred that they entered in the name of freedom, considering that these signals the return of Europe to the barbaric era."

Erdogan called on rational Europeans to take the initiative against this dangerous trend, for the sake of a bright future for them and their children, and he called on those seeking to cover up their failure in their internal policies by exploiting hostility to Muslims and Turks, to withdraw their dirty hands from the sacred values of Muslims, as he put it.
