"On October 28, 2020, the only Tu-154 aircraft remaining in the Russian civil aviation performed its final flight," the press service said.

It is noted that "the aircraft (tail number RA-85757) belonging to the airline" Alrosa "made a two-hour flight from the capital of the diamond region, the city of Mirny, to Tolmachevo airport (Novosibirsk), where it delivered 140 passengers."

Earlier, the commander of the long-range aviation of the Aerospace Forces of Russia, Lieutenant General Sergei Kobylash, said that Russian strategic bombers Tu-160 set a world record for the range and duration of non-stop flights for aircraft of this class.
