Russia tests new anti-missile missile

  On the 28th local time, the Russian Ministry of National Defense announced that that day the air defense forces of the country’s Aerospace Forces tested new anti-missile missiles at the Sareshagan training ground in Kazakhstan.

The news quoted Grubchuk, commander of the Russian air defense forces, as saying that the test achieved the intended target and the missile hit the target accurately.

The Russian Defense Ministry pointed out that the anti-missile system will be installed in the air and space forces and used to defend against air and space offensive weapon attacks, as well as to complete the missile attack early warning system and outer space surveillance tasks.

  According to the opinion of Russian military experts quoted by RIA Novosti, the future new anti-missile missiles will enhance the combat capabilities of the Russian capital Moscow and some missile defense systems in Europe.
