Commenting on the incidents in Omsk and Rostov-on-Don, Peskov noted that "the latest examples are very sad examples that, of course, should be analyzed so that they will not be repeated anywhere else."

“Unfortunately, against the background of such an increase in the number of infected people, there are failures, and the main task is to minimize them as much as possible,” TASS quotes a Kremlin spokesman.

Speaking about the case in Omsk, Peskov said that "it is necessary that the situation does not come to this at all."

He said that "if a problem arises somewhere, it is necessary to respond promptly, first of all - to the head of the region."

According to the press secretary, "both the center and the headquarters in the center are open for inquiries in case of signs of some critical overload of the health care system."

“The system works, and when such unacceptable situations happen, of course, it is very important to react immediately,” he added.

Earlier, the government of the Omsk region reported that "two patients in serious condition, who are in ambulances, could not be transferred to a hospital for a long time."

It was reported that "later the patients were admitted to the hospital of the emergency hospital No. 2".

The head of the region, Alexander Burkov, commenting on this incident, said that "the incident that occurred in the evening is beyond human understanding."
