"While the Constitutional Court was created to conduct negotiations, the NAU will be the body ensuring the achievement of the goals - the beginning of negotiations and stability in the country at the time of the transition of power to democratic forces," - said in a statement on the Telegram channel Latushko.

According to the opposition's plans, the new body will support the coordination council and the headquarters of the ex-presidential candidate Svetlana Tikhanovskaya.

“Our team ... comes up with concrete proposals: how to eliminate the causes of the crisis, to achieve the start of negotiations, to correct the situation in the economy, to restore the rule of law and others,” Latushko said.

Tikhanovskaya announced the beginning of a nationwide strike in Belarus on October 26.

The Minister of Industry of Belarus Pyotr Parkhomchik noted that these appeals had no effect and "the products were produced in a regular mode and shipped to the consumer."

At the same time, President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko said that the most active group of workers supporting the strike at factories is financed from abroad.
