The school trains students to become pilots in the commercial market worldwide.

On 18 September this year, the Swedish Transport Agency decided that the school's permit may no longer apply to several key elements in the most comprehensive education that the school provides.

Three remarks

During the inspection carried out by the Swedish Transport Agency, three remarks were made at level 1, which is the most serious level.

Among other things, the school could not show that they had training in returning from unwanted flight modes.

A training part that became a requirement in the pilot training after the crash with an Air France plane in 2009 in which 228 people died.

In addition, the former head of school, also called head of training, has resigned from the school and having one in place is a prerequisite for having a certificate to conduct flight training.

In addition to this, the school suffers from financial problems and in the beginning of October a company restructuring was started.

The school itself has requested to return its education permit for 60 days in connection with the reconstruction.

International students

Today, 17 students from all over the world attend the school.

Their education is now stopped for the time being.

We have been in contact with several of them but no one wants to talk to SVT.

Going to the school's most comprehensive education costs SEK 752,000, according to the school's own website.

The school now has until 1 December to get the educational material in order and recruit a new school principal, otherwise the Swedish Transport Agency can revoke the certificate completely.

Have appealed

The school has appealed the decision to the Administrative Court and considers that the Swedish Transport Agency's measures are not in proportion to the deviations the authority noted after the inspection.

We have asked the school how they view the remarks about flight safety and how they view the students' situation.

The school does not want to stand for an interview but writes in an email to SVT Sörmland:

“The school, like all players in the aviation industry, has been hit hard by the corona pandemic.

The purpose of the reconstruction is to be able to resume school activities as soon as possible. "
