Coronavirus, La Scala theater postpones the presentation of the program

October 28, 2020 First the choir and now the entire La Scala orchestra was placed in quarantine by decision of the Ats of Milan.
After the ascertained positivity of 18 choristers and 3 orchestral wind instruments, in fact, the swabs performed on the 85 professors of the other orchestral sections - explained by the Theater - highlighted another 6 positive musicians.
"The results of the swabs performed in recent days to 85 orchestra professors belonging to the strings and percussion sections today highlighted six cases of positive Covid-19", reads a note. "The outcome was promptly communicated to Ats which ordered the quarantine for all the members of the orchestra".
