The former head of Territorial Intelligence of Hautes-Alpes killed by her son?

According to the prosecution, the 16-year-old son of the former head of the Hautes-Alpes Territorial Intelligence, found dead at his home on Tuesday, confessed this Wednesday morning in police custody to having killed his mother.

The teenager born in September 2004 "admitted having killed his mother in circumstances which will have to be clarified in particular with regard to legal medical elements and the autopsy", underlined the prosecutor of the Republic of Gap, Florent Crouhy.

The teenager must be presented in the afternoon to a magistrate of the criminal center of Grenoble with a view to a probable indictment by an examining magistrate.

"The minor has been in custody since Tuesday evening for homicide," said the prosecutor.

The teenager was notably found in possession of his mother's cell phone and bank card.

The body stuck between a French window and a shutter

The victim, Martine.

B, 57, was found dead Tuesday at her home in the village of Montgardin near Gap.

The body of the policewoman, retired since this summer, was stuck between a French window and a shutter, her head covered with a plastic bag.

An autopsy of the body is scheduled in the coming days at the Medico-Legal Institute (IML) in Grenoble.

A dog leash and an electric cable were wrapped around his neck.

An investigation for "worrying disappearance" had been opened the day before when the fifty-something had not been reachable for nearly a week.

The gendarmes were trying to join her, as a legal representative, because her son had been arrested in Briançon, Monday, in possession of nearly 30 grams of herbal cannabis and placed in police custody.

"Given the location of the discovery of the body and its position, the intervention of a third party is beyond doubt," the prosecutor of the Republic of Gap indicated on Tuesday evening.

"The victim would have been killed on the spot and the body was visibly manipulated", also underlined a source close to the file.

Opened by the Gap prosecutor's office for intentional homicide, the investigation is being carried out by the Research Section (SR) of the Marseille gendarmerie, co-seized with the Gap Research Brigade (BR) and the local gendarmerie brigade of Chorges.
